Job Description:
Design and develop multi-tier Internet applications on variety of platforms including Unix and Windows NT. Architect and develop detailed design of various subsystems including front-end GUI, back-end business logic and update/retrieval to database. Develop technical portions of project proposals. Assist in estimating project schedules and resources. Develop various project documentation including system requirements, feature requirements, design specifications and test specifications. Lead engineering teams to develop software design, implement the design, code and test changes. Provide consulting services at customer site

Desired Skills and Experience:
Candidate should have 6 to 7 years of experience in design and development application software. Should have experience in OOA/D, design patters and UML. Very strong programming experience in C++ and Java. Should have work experience with Internet technologies including Servlets, Applets, JDBC, JSP, Java Beans, CGI, HTML/DHTML. Should have scripting experience in Java Script and Perl. Hands on experience in multi-threading, RogueWave libraries, ClearCase. Should have work experience with secured transactions over Internet. Experience with various products namely Oracle, Netscape/Apache web servers, Netscape directory server etc.

Experience in developing servlets, applets, Java Server Pages, Java Beans. Should have experience with database design, SQL programming and JDBC. Should have project experience with RougueWave libraries, threads, sockets and RMI. Hands experience with configuration of Netscape/Apache Web servers and Oracle database server.
